Ewan's new tricks
Despite his ongoing cough and wheezing Ewan is still progressing well with his development.
In the last 10 days he has mastered some things he was only previously doing by luck and began to do some new tricks too. These include:
Rolling from front to back having already rolled from back to front (this is all in one direction though, so we have so watch what he's rolling towards!)
Reaching and grabbing with great purpose for stuff in our hands, including coffee cups. He also tells us if he's not getting what he wants.
Grabbing his own feet and putting them in his mouth. This began on the changing table but he's doing it other places now, including when he is still strapped into his bouncer which makes him quite frustrated since he can't quite reach. This has lead to another trick, which is planting his feet on the ground and pushing his bum in the air in an effort to escape the bouncer. This maneuver is also attempted on Mom or Dad's lap if he wants out.
We also think he is starting to teeth. He now sucks on his bottom lip a lot which makes him look quite "frog-faced" (hopefully we'll have the camera handy next time he does this) and makes the requisite sucking noises in the process. his drool quantity has increased significantly and he chews on his hands and quite frankly anything that he can get in his mouth an awful lot.
