Back to the doctor
Unfortunately the albuterol has not killed the cough. In fact it has made no improvement overall and makes him cough more immediately following the dose. His sleep is worse than ever and therefore so is ours. After we give him a dose of the inhaler (that he fights with all of his might) it takes him about an hour to calm down and go back to sleep. So we were back to the doctor yesterday. Since he is not getting better the doctor prescribed prednisolone in addition to the inhaler. Ewan also received 2 nebulizer treatments in the office before we were sent home. Everyone is really hoping that this does the trick. Ewan went to bed early since he had missing one of his naps by going to the doctor and slept better than the past couple of nights. He woke up at 12:30 AM and 4:00 AM but was able to get back to sleep reasonably soon after we gave him the medicine and fed him. Hopefully this is a sign of improvement...

poor little pumpkin. How is he doing now? Keep us posted.
And keep your chin up. And remember that this is temporary (but I do know that it is hard right now).
We are hoping that the wee laddie is going to be better today. We are rooting for him and hoping that he will want to "speak" to us again today. Give him a big cuddle from us and a splonking big kiss. XXXXXXXXXX
