Uncle Phil pays a visit

Ewan's Uncle Phillip paid a visit this weekend. Fraser's oldest brother flew into LA on his way to Palm Springs to attend a conference and chose to stop over the night in Pasadena to break up the journey and be the first Moss aunty or uncle to meet his nephew in person.

It was great to see him, as we have not been back to the UK since Xmas 2005, and he brought some great little treats from Teresa, Charlotte, Lauren and himself. Mom and Dad got some nice chocolates and naturally a supply of English tea bags. Ewan got a new toy crab that plays a tune and crawls away when you bop his shell. We played with it a lot this afternoon and it was a big hit. The music it plays is surprisingly loud for a small toy. We think there might be a little payback happening here for all the noisy toys Fraser bought Charlotte and Lauren when they were younger.

Although it was a flying visit, it was super to see Phil and we got to catch up a little over dinner last night and a brunch this morning before he and his colleague had to hit the road. We hope the weather is a bit better for the rest of their trip. It's been raining again, which is not what most folk would expect when they come to LA.
