Ewan's New Glider Rocker

We went furniture shopping today. Ewan has not really been feeling comforted by the hand-me-down traditional rocking chair we had in his room, and it was actually quite large and hard for Jennifer to rock. A visit to Ryan & Brianna's house last night convinced us we needed to upgrade. Ewan was a rather fractious but a few minutes in their glider rocker and he was out and with much less effort for Jen than normal.

So we put the rest of the money we were given from Fraser's lab's baby shower towards a new rocker. We spent a good forty minutes rocking in all the sample chairs on the shop floor at Baby Depot. Most of them worked well because Ewan passed out each time we started sampling them, and once we decided on the one that was the most comfortable for both Mom and Dad we took it home. It only just fit in the car but we got it all home and once Fraser assembled all the parts it was time for its maiden ride. However it was not Ewan who got to be rocked by Mommy, but instead Miss Pac Man was determined that it would be her who was rocked first. Once Miss Pac Man was finished Ewan did get his first rock in the new chair and it was a great success!
