Anything is Bearable with a Boob in Your Mouth!

Ewan went to the doctors today to get his first set of shots.

He received his Polio, Diptheria, Tentanus, Pertussis, Haemophilus Influenzae Type B (cause of bacterial meningitis among children), Hepatitis B and Pneumococcal vaccines in 3 separate shots.

He was a extremely brave, and so was Mom who had the clever idea to breastfeed him while he got each jab. While he still yelped with each neeedle stick in his thigh, he soon gathered himself and carried on feeding. His thighs were sore for the rest of the evening, but he wasn't too crabby and fed and went to bed as normal with a little help from a dose of children's Tylenol.
