Mothering Sunday (UK)

Today is Mother's day in the UK. In the morning Fraser and Ewan took Grandma and Grandad to see the Rose Bowl, an icon of Pasadena. It was closed down for off season repairs, but the grounds were full of joggers and soccer players as always at the weekend.


After the Rose Bowl we went a short distance down the road to the Lower Arroyo Park. This park affords a great view of the Colorado Street Bridge. It is also quite a surprising little pocket of traquility below the 210 Freeway.


We stumbled on some archers while strolling around too and apparently they are there every weekend and are actively recruiting.
